    This page describes how www.jewmia.com handles the treatment of its users' personal information. It is and informative report about privacy also following art. 13 of 196/03 Legislative decree (Privacy Code from now on) for the users of our website's online services. This informative report is not valid for other websites that may be linked on ours, as Jewmia hasn't got any responsibility on them.

    The holder of the treatment of personal data, regarding identified or identifiable people consulting our website, is Jewmia, head office in via Croce Rossa 113, 90144 Palermo.
  • Place and aims of the treatment of personal data
    Treatments regarding the web services of this website are run at the sub-mentioned Jewmia head office, and are handled only by technical staff from the office in charge. The data treatment takes place under their storage in informatic archives of the society, whose access is limited to maintenance procedures under what is stated in Attachment B. No data coming from the web service is given off to third parties. Personal data are only used to execute the required services, and are not communicated to third parties, except for when the law requires it or when it is strictly necessary for requests management.

    Informatic systems and software procedures of this website acquire, during their normal processes, some personal information whose transmission is implied by the use of internet communication protocols. These data are not collected for identified interests, but – by their own nature – they may allow the users' identification through elaborations and associations with data belonging to third parties. This category includes IP addresses or the domain names of computers connecting to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifiers) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to send the request to the server, the dimension of the file of the answer to the request, the numeric code indicating the status of the server response (success, error, …) and other parameters regarding the operating system and the informatic status of the user. These data are only processed for obtaining anonymous statistic information about the website utilization and to control its correct functioning. Data may be used in case of possible informatic crimes against the website. We use tools such as GoogleAnalytics, that let us understand better how users interact with the website by collecting detailed information on navigation. These data are only collected for the aim of enhancing the service and fixing eventual problems.
    Data voluntarily provided by users
    The optional, explicit and voluntary dispatch of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this website implies the following capture of the sender's e-mail address, which is necessary in order to answer, and the eventual personal data entered in the e-mail. Synthetic informative reports will be further visualized on the website's pages that are meant for particular services.

    The persons the data refer to have the rights stated by art. 7 of Privacy Code which provides, among the others, for the right of being aware of the presence of his data and obtain their elimination, correction or update by applying to the treatment holder – this being Jewmia, at the sub-mentioned address.
